Welcome to my homepage! I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Previously I was a research scientist at Meta Platforms, working on improving robustness and sequential learning of ranking models. I also spent a wonderful year in Meta AI as a postdoc, focusing on diffusion models. Before that, I was a postdoc at the Institute of Network Science, Yale University, working with Prof. Leandros Tassiulas.
I received my PhD and my Bachelor degrees in the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University in 2022 and 2017, respectively. My advisor is Prof. Jintao Wang. During my PhD studies, I was a visiting student in Telecom Paris, Microsoft Research Asia and Tencent Inc.
